Established in 2013, ProUAV is located in Sydney Australia and operated by Darrell Burkey.
Darrell has a passion for anything that flies which he attributes to having been raised in an Air Force family. In 2009 he began to experiment with remote helicopters as a platform to photograph motorcyclists. This led to further tests with remotely piloted planes and finally to his current work with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, including high end multirotors designed specifically for aerial photography.
Darrell is involved with several UAV based projects including Canberra UAV who develop systems for use in Search and Rescue missions.
As well as his experience flying UAVs, Darrell has qualifications in commercial photography and information technology. In his spare time he volunteers his services to support the work of many community organisations as the founder and President of Computing Assistance Support & Education Inc.
